The Mountain Winery announces the inception and dedication of its newest vineyard comprised of six acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines. Plantings were completed in 2004 and it is estimated that the fruit from the new vineyard will yield more than 1,000 cases of reserve wines. This inception marks the first time in more than sixty years that a new vineyard has been planted on the site of the historic property first developed by Paul Masson. Wines produced from the 2006 harvest will result in a limited edition release of The Mountain Winery's first Estate Reserve Series wines produced since the late 1940's.
